LIVE CENTER FOR CONVENTIONAL LATHE
A live center (also known as a lathe rolling center) is used in lathe operations to support and stabilize a workpiece during machining. Unlike a standard dead center, a rolling center has bearings that allow the tip to rotate with the workpiece. This reduces friction and heat, improving precision, surface finish, and tool longevity.
The live center for a conventional lathe has a simple structure, high stability, low failure rate, and long service life. Due to the lack of complex electronic control components, the mechanical structure of traditional rotary top pins is usually more durable than CNC versions when subjected to high loads. LIVE CENTER FOR CNC LATHE
A live center for CNC lathe is a tool to support and stabilize a rotating workpiece during machining operations in a CNC lathe. It is mounted on the tailstock of the lathe and features a bearing mechanism that allows the tip to rotate along with the workpiece, reducing friction, heat, and wear compared to a dead center.
Li-Hsun's live centers offer high-precision positioning and movement, which can perform high-load machining for a long time without deviation or excessive wear. The operation of the ejector pin can be automatically adjusted according to the needs, and different processing requirements can be adjusted, especially on high-precision workpieces that require rotation, alignment, or positioning, which perform exceptionally well. RE-SHARPENING MACHINE
A re-sharpening machine is a specialized tool used to restore the cutting edges of worn or dull cutting tools, such as drills, end mills, or reamers, to their original sharpness. This process extends the life of the tools, improves cutting performance, and reduces the cost of frequently purchasing new tools.
To meet the needs of different industries, Li-Hsun's drill bit grinders and milling cutter grinders are widely used for grinding various drill bits and milling cutters. The tool positioning is precise, and the grinding size is as small as 2mm. With special cylinder clamps, it can reach 30mm. The grinding wheel of the re-sharpening machine rotates at high speeds to carefully grind and reshape the tool's cutting edges, removing worn material and restoring sharpness. EDGE FINDER
An edge finder, also known as a wiggler or center finder, is a tool used in machining to locate the edges of a workpiece accurately. This is crucial for precise machining operations. Lih-Hsun provides various edge finders for different needs:
- Mechanical edge finder uses two spring-loaded cylinders wobble during spindle rotation until touching the workpiece edge, then center and "kick off" to indicate the exact edge.
- Optical edge finder uses light and lenses for precise edge detection.
- Ceramic edge finder is made of zirconia, non-magnetic, and ideal for magnetic materials.
Z AXIAL PRESET GAUGE
A Z Axial Preset Gauge is a precision measuring tool used primarily in machining, manufacturing, and tool-setting processes. Its primary purpose is to ensure that cutting tools, such as drill bits, end mills, and other tooling, are correctly aligned and positioned along the Z-axis of a machine, which is the vertical axis in a three-dimensional coordinate system. This ensures precise depth control, accurate cuts, and efficient operation in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, milling machines, or other automated systems. With precise tool measurements, operators can reduce setup times and avoid manual adjustments during machining processes.
